Stewart School Winter Update

It’s been a busy few months for Stewart School dancers. Making us proud as they competed at the Western Canadian Championships, Dedanaan Feis and the Pacific Norhtwest Championships. We can’t forget the whirlwind of St. Patrick’s Day performances, where the black, pnik and green was seen in many locations through out Metro Vancouver.

Pacific Northwest Championships – March 2012. Great showing at the Pacific Northwest Championships.

  • Grant MacRobbie 3rd Open Championship U16
  • Garrette Osborne 4th in the Non Champ Traritional Set U11

Van Eire Feis February 2012. Congratulations Emily Lines winning your 1st prelim championship!

  • Naomi McCullough 2nd Open Championship U18

  • Grant MacRobbie 3rd in the U16 Open Championship
  • Kaitlin Carandang 3rd in the U14 Open Championship
  • Jefferey Carandang 4th in the U16 Open Championship
  • Jefferey Carandang 4th in the U16 Treble Reel Special
  • Gant MacRobbie 5th in the U16 Hornpipe Special
  • Emily Lines 5th in the 16 and Over Preliminary Championship

Oireachtas Congratulations to the following dancers who qualified to dance at the World Championships in March 2012:

  • Grant MacRobbie – the current Western Canadian U15 Boys Champion.
  • Shane Byrne 2nd in Senior Mens
  • Jeff Carandang 2nd in Boys U16
  • Kaitlin Carandang 6th in Girls U14
  • Naomi McCullough 8th in Girls U16
